GROUP COORDINATOR

Overall Responsibilities -
The Group Coordinator (GC) has nine major responsibilities:

To serve as coordinator for all class and field activities
To meet with your teacher partner soon after the trainings to complete activity and curriculum planning
To serve as liaison between the program and the host families and conduct the Host Family Orientation
To understand NISE philosophy, specifically goals and objectives, including host family guidelines
To understand NISE curriculum guide, other classroom materials, itinerary and calendar
To cooperate with other your teacher partner, NISE administrative staff and foreign escorts
To establish the final itinerary in collaboration with NISE program operations
To identify locations of, schedule and arrange the Welcome and Farewell parties
To meet with staff at the Academic Center and Orientation locations and finalize the arrangements with them
