Automobiles or
Motorcycles
Students are not allowed to drive cars; they are forbidden to ride on or
drive motorcycles.
Traveling Alone
Students are not allowed to go to downtown Portland or to a shopping mall without
being accompanied by a responsible member of their American Host Family.
Smoking
The student must abide by your rules concerning smoking. If there is a
problem, please contact your Group Coordinator immediately.
Swimming
Swimming should be permitted only if supervised by an adult. In public
areas, swimming should be allowed only where lifeguards are provided.
